How many dimensions are there in our universe?

Dimensions in our Universe – As per science: Dimensions are the metrics that physicists use to describe reality. Sounds broad, right? Let’s start with the three dimensions most people learn in grade school. The spatial dimensions—width, height, and depth—are the easiest to visualize. A horizontal line exists in one dimension because it only has length; a square is two-dimensional because it has length and width. Add depth and we get a cube, or a three-dimensional shape.

These three coordinates are used to pinpoint an object’s location in space. But space isn’t the only plane we exist on; we also exist in time, which is where the fourth dimension comes in. Once we know a dot’s altitude, longitude, latitude, and position in time, we have the tools needed to plot its existence in the universe as we know it.

But some physicists who subscribe to string theory argue there’s more to reality than the observable universe. String theory, also known as “superstring theory,” aims to unify two main theories describing how the universe works: general relativity (which applies to very large objects) and quantum mechanics (which applies to very small ones). In a four-dimensional universe, this theory wouldn’t be possible, but once scientists tweaked the math to include 10 dimensions—11 including time—their equations worked.

What does the Vedas say about these? – Dimensions in our Universe

The Vedas talks about 64 dimensions – yes you read that right. I will start explaining: – Dimensions in our Universe

1st dimension: width or which allows left-right movements/visuals.

2nd dimension: height or which allows up-down movements/visuals.

3rd dimension: width or which allows forward-backward movements/visuals.

Our universe is just 3 dimensional.

4th dimension: time (kala).

And a very much misterious feeling is just passing in this universe and that is time because our universe is covered with 4th dimension time.

5th dimension: multi-universe (brahma-ayam). In this dimension multiple Brahma are born (creation of the universe) and dies (destruction of the universe). (dimension is the dimension where there are many universe or multiple universe, even science believes in multiple universe.)

This dimension (ayam) is present outside of our 3 dimensional universe – it means in this dimension the Brahma (energy and consciousness, not to be confused with online available 4 headed guy sitting on the Lotus – that is solely for representation POV) resides.

6th dimension: Vishnu or Narayan lives Mahā Vishnu, Garbhodakaśāyī Vishnu and Ksirodakaśāyī Vishnu, Garbhodakaśāyī Vishnu send all universe to the 5th dimension ksirodakasayi Vishnu controls the matter and atoms and maha Vishnu sends rules and energy to the universe.

Vishnu; which are of three types:

Maha-Vishnu – is the source behind tatva (element) and urja (energy) – creator of the 5 dimensions mentioned above – also known as maha-tatva.

Garbodh-kasya-Vishnu – is the source behind creation of each and every brahmanda (universe) – from them Brahma is born.

Kasirodh-kasya-Vishnu – is the pervading source behind our 3 dimensional universe. It is present in every single tatva (element) and parmanu (atom) of our universe. When a yogi is doing meditation (dhyana), that presence which is felt is of them. Achieving the wisdom of them, we rise above materialistic attachments (moh-maya) and is the medium of feeling the divine bliss of param-atman.

7th dimension: is known as Satya-ayaam/Brahma-jyoti – also represented as Akashi-tirkot in the Vedas – this is the dimension which a yogi feels while doing sadhna (another form of meditation)Achieving the wisdom of this dimension is the key for Devata-shreni (demi-god category). These Yogi are sometimes also referred as maha-gyaani (super-wise). Those Yogis are said to attain and conceive the heights of divya-chakshu (divine eyes [third-eye in general or ajna-chakra]).

Dimension where there is something called is the great knowledge or maha Gyan it is called as the Brahma Jyoti dimension, where there there is great knowledge on gods and life, who does deep meditation feels this dimension.

8th dimension: Kailasa – a mountain range/place where it is said that Lord Shiva is present in his bhautik (physical) form! His job is to maintain balance between all of the 7 dimensions mentioned above. Shiva key path towards Moksha. Any Yogi aiming for the Moksha has no other path but to go through this phase and feel or become the Shiva himself.

Dimension where lord Shiva lives the Kailash lok the original Kailash lok is at this dimension. It is also said that this is the way to moksha.

9th dimension: Vaikunta – residence of Narayana which is the working force behind every single dimension, known or unknown – Moksha literally mean dissolving/uniting with param-atman (supreme consciousness) in this dimension. Every dimension is made from the Narayana or the energy, consciousness which resides in this dimension, the consciousness, wisdom, energy which resides in this dimension. Everything in this dimension is shunya (zero) and absolute stillness.

Dimension where lord Vishnu or Narayana original form of Vishnu in the vaikuntha Loka lives.this is a moksh for all atamas where atma gets mixed with the paramatma

10th dimension: is called as Ananta-ayam – residence of param-satya (supreme truth), Param-Atman (supreme consciousness), Allah, Para-brahmaNirakara, Nirankara, Ananta Sada-Shiva, Satya-Vishnu.

This dimension itself can be called as Satya Param-Atman (True Supreme Consciousness) – it was always here, is indestructible, unborn, absolute pure consciousness, bliss, divine, joy – this is exactly the definition of God/Allah/Parabrahma.

It is called by multiple names but is the source of entire monstrously huge multi-universe and dimensions which is God’s ansh (part). It is working behind everything in everything – cosmic, atomic, conscious, non-physical, physical, dimensional, realm, multi-universe, you name it.

How many dimensions are there in our universe

infinite dimension that is the Param Satya paramatma dimension with the Vishwaroopam shown by lord Krishna which is the one form of the tridev the Brahma Vishnu Maheshwar the Param Satya Parmatma the one form of all things in the universe of all demons of all Devtas and of all atmas the paramatma.this this is the final dimension the 64 dimensions and other dimensions Live between this 10 which have said, everything all the dimensions the universe the life has only come from the infinite dimension that is Param Satya Parmatma .Vedas and puranas contain great knowledge for life and also contains great science in it.

It’s the reason behind this entirety in whole – in this way, in this (10th) dimension itself somehow, all 64 dimensions resides and are working and functioning because of it. (Dimensions in our Universe)

No human can know about those 64 dimensions, because our mind is even smaller than a single quark.

With this being clear, there’s a little clarification for those who will say my article is based on my belief, which it is not.

Belief systems, logic, assumptions, presumptions, calculations – are all part of theories. What I have written, is the absolute reality, the truth, the Sanatana (Hinduism).

Because Sanatana literally means the ‘Eternal’ one. It is something which will cease to exist in one form or the other.

Why and How were the Vedas written?

I’d say this question has many errors, Vedas mean wisdom and wisdom is different from knowledge – just as same as the intellect is different from intelligence.
Yoga (which was also derived from the Vedas, as a form of intellect for unification) talks about 5 basic elements (pancha-bhutas): Earth (prithvi), Water (Jal), Fire (agni), Air (vayu) and Akash/Akasa (Ether/Aether). This element is vastly practiced and used by Tantarics.

5th element however only exists in the Yoga philosophical school and was also denied by Buddhism, maybe that’s why it couldn’t survive in India. Moving on, Ether itself is a compound and is divided in 4 categories: light, life, consciousness, space.
Basic 5 elements gives us all of what we need to survive and liberate ourselves from this Bhu-loka or Mrityu-loka generally termed as Earth. Meanwhile, the 5th element is one of the most important here; as it contains consciousness – which is the source of wisdom. So you see, wisdom, intellect, GOD is always around us, everywhere, without any medium. Without any presence which is present is termed as God.

This is why I highlighted Sanatana and it’s scriptures because it is not based on anyone’s belief systems, it is what you too can experience through Yoga because it is what the only Truth is. And when something could actually be experienced by anyone and everyone – there’s no questions left for authentication by some academia doctorate scholar – because their entire life is limited in ‘believing’ and not ‘experiencing’.

Every atom and cosmos contains some kind of consciousness and wisdom by default, it is because of 10th dimension/God, as every atom and cosmos is a part of God itself, hence shares one or other or every type of property – just like water, same property in a drop of water as it is in the ocean. We just need to feel.

  1. Wow. This is so astounding. God is truly great. Beyond the 10th dimension, is it Goloka where Krishna resides with His two-armed form and flute and gopis and cattle?

  2. As defined dimention is the measure were maya (for us the reality) is described for understandingthi. For example a planet or a matter has length, breath, height, position as per time. Your mentioning of dimentions are not measures which we can use to describe to understand a thing. As per my understanding upon my meditation on dimentioinn I can describe a thing in seven dimentions 3 material and 4 spiritual.
