Here are some tips about self-improvement and productivity

  1. Always arrive 10 minutes early to everything. Once it’s a habit, you won’t stress about being late.
  2. If it takes less than two minutes, do it now.
  3. Don’t make promises when you’re in a good mood
  4. If you think someone is giving you a fake number, read it back to them incorrectly. if they correct you, it’s legit.
  5. To get out of the house on time, create a playlist exactly as long as you have to get ready in the morning.
  6. If you spend a while looking for something, after you find and use it, put it back in the first place you looked for it.
  7. Hang a wrinkled shirt (or dress) in the bathroom before you take a hot shower. The steam will help get the wrinkles out.
  8. Grocery shop after a meal; you’ll spend less money.
  9. If you have brain freeze, press the underside of your tongue against the roof of your mouth.
  10. Break in your shoes in under 5 minutes with a blow dryer and thick socks.
  11. Use a highlighter to get permanent marker stains off your body.
  12. When someone tells you their name, say it out loud back to them. You’re more likely to remember it.
  13. Put your phone in a zip bag and clip it to the back of an airplane seat to watch TV and movies.
  14. Pay for things in cash so it’s not “imaginary” money. You’re much less likely to waste it.
  15. Put your clothes in your closet with the hanger reserved. As you pull clothes out, reverse the hanger. Every year donate the clothes you didn’t use.
  16. When packing, roll your clothes. It will prevent wrinkles and save space.
  17. Put your alarm clock at the far side of the room rather than next to your bed.
  18. When you eat, just eat; avoid TV and Internet distractions.
  19. Avoid clutter by practicing the philosophy of “bring one thing in, throw two things out” at home.
  20. Paint the inside of your rings with clear nail polish to avoid green stains on fingers.
  21. Create a stop time for eating food each day to avoid overeating.
